We do like the roof as our room has no window. It has a fancy bit of timber lattice type window thingy behind the bed head for light (Indian's version of a skylight maybe).
The roof is great for people watching and the restaurant serves food and drink up there as well. There are many birds flying around, small eagle types, pigeons and parrots. Yesterday there were many kites in the sky being Sunday, it is a week-end activity.
The locals are always hoiking, picking their noses and spitting - clearing out the pollution!

My fav is the Thali meal, it is served on a round silver tray with small servings of 2 vego curries, 1 dahl, rice, pappadum, bread, riata, salad (cucumber, salad onion & radish), chutney and a sweet. It sounds like a lot and is, it could feed two. Jim's fav is chicken tikka or chicken tandoori.
