What a load of s**t |
All up a 4 hour drive today. Just outside Bikaner we stopped off to
see Karni Mata, the rat temple.
We decided to see it just for interest
sake. It’s always a thrill to see
something in real life when you have seen it on TV, but not in this case. We had to take our shoes off but thankfully
we could leave our socks on. We
couldn’t get out quick enough, didn’t even stop long enough to take a
photo. It was horrible!! It was almost repulsive to put our shoes
back on with our rat s**t socks (as Jim was calling them). There was no rat s**t because there were
people sweeping everywhere, it just felt unclean, it didn’t smell.
You’ll have to Google that one for photos
and an explanation of the temple.
It is a good story.
Big boobies and bananas! |
After the rat temple we visited the
National Research Centre for Camels.
It was like being on a school excursion. While we were there I went to the toilet (how unusual I know
many of you are saying) and when I came out I got a surprise, there was a
stream of camels walking by, Jim and Deepak were on the other side of the
compound laughing at me.
There was a dairy but we weren’t game to
taste a camel milk lassi or coffee.
Jim loved the camels, he said they looked like they were smiling.
